WORKSHOPS AND EVENTS
Dr. Fadda, in collaboration with Dr. Alison Ferrell from Maynooth University Centre forTeaching and Learning, has also developed a workshop on scientific writing aimed at 4th year Chemistry students. This workshop is held once a year, usually in December, when the students are beginning to draft their 4th year report.
Dr Fadda also coordinates the Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Chemistry (PBC) first year students Poster Day. During this event the 1st year students have the opportunity to showcase the research they conducted on different assigned topics during a poster session. This event represent a unique opportunity for the first year students to engage in scientific discussions and to present their work to both, peers and academic staff. The best posters are selected by a judging panel formed by 2nd year PBC students.
